IKEA Pleasantview can really only be run as a business. You will need
to set all IKEA items for sale. The business is pretty easy to run, and
the furniture is not very expensive. I used a Pre-Order Bonus IKEA TV,
but it is not included in the download. You can find it for download
for free in certain fansites. If you cannot find it, when you play the
lot, the TV will be replaced by another TV. Also, there may be a glitch
where the IKEA TVs in the units disappear, and can be found floating in
the corner of the lot. I don't know why this happens sometimes. Maybe
it might only be if you have boolProp enabled. |

This is a remake of the old Snowdrift Ice Rink which was lost with all
the other previous lots. I don't think it works to good as a business,
but you could try. It has no toilet, so if your Sim is not a Sloppy
Sim, you may need to return home after a little while, or... well...
you know. |

Riverblossom Farm is a large lot, and has room for a large family. (Up
to 9 Sims). In the back, there are three "fields" of crops, as well as
6 orchard trees. So really, you'll need a big family to live in the lot
so you can have them all garden at the same time. It is also adviseable
that you have at least one adult Sim who is unemployed to tend the
garden whilst the others are away. There will be a lot of weeds and
bugs popping up. A Servo or PlantSim would be the best investment.
There are ladybird houses around the fields, but I doubt they get rid
of 100% of the bugs. Also, the lot is pretty expensive, so unless you
are a strict, no cheats type of person, then I recommend using the
familyfunds cheat to buy the lot. |

Mac's is a pretty expensive restaurant to buy, but I found the lot
pretty fun the run as a business. It should function just as well as a
normal community lot too. Although there are 3 stoves, I don't think
the restaurant really needs 3 chefs. Maybe one or two for the first few
levels. Also, I came across an annoying glitch where the servers would
take some customer's orders, but not deliver the food, and the customer
would end up losing a loyalty star. I don't know what caused this, and
it was only to a few Sims. |

Smith's Music is a really fun lot to play, but expensive, yet pretty
profitable. When I was building the lot, I forgot to enclose the stairs
in a room or fench and put a door in to be locked for employees only.
So unless you want customers raiding your employee breakroom, I suggest
you build a wall round the top of the stairs like this... |

I really love playing this lot as a business. But one of the Expansion
Packs made the salon chair's "Offer Make Over too..." interaction stop
working properly, so I suggest you download the "salonfix-petsp0" fix
from MoreAwesomeThanYou, here
to fix it and make it more fun. Included in the lot is a Cosmetic
Surgeon career reward which customers can use if you make them
selectable by using the "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" cheat.
There is also an Antique Camera career reward outside behind the front
left tree. I forgot to delete it when testing the lot. I suggest you
lock the door to the employee break room for Household and Employees
only as well as the door outside to the hot tub, as customers will
spend all their time in there and not on clothes, etc. |

Advanced Info: This lot turned out better than I thought. I liked the idea of making a woodland type place to take Sims' dogs for a walk, but I added in other things like a playground, hot springs, etc. but it still looks great. |
